Beater - A Quidditch player that must hit the Bludger with a wooden stick.

Bezoar - A stone taken from the stomach of a goat that will save you from most poisons.
Bludger - A large jet black ball, hurts a lot if you get hit with it.
Boggart - Creature that turns into whatever you fear the most.
Bubotuber - A purple, highly secretive, creature whose puss can be gathered to cure forms of acne, fungus, and some odd hexes.

Chaser - A Quidditch player who must score using the Quaffle.
Chocolate Frogs - Chocolate shaped like frogs,included with a Famous Withces and Wizard Card.
Codswallop - Not true, a lie.
Cornish Pixies - Electric blue, about 8 inches high with pointy faces and a shrill voice.

Dementor - A tall, black, cloaked creature; Can determine if you are evil or up to no good.
Disapparate - Ability to remove yourself from somewhere.
Droobles Best Blowing Gum - Can fill a room with bluebell-colored bubbles that refuse to pop for days.
Dungbomb - When one of these is set off it stinks up a large area around it.
Durmstrang - A wizarding school in Hungary.

Erised, The Mirror of - A mirror that shows what you desire most, Erised spelt backwards is desire.
Exploding Snap - Wizard cards that can explode at any time.

Floo Powder - When thrown into a fire it can transport a witch or wizard anywhere connected on the Floo network.

Galleon - A gold piece of wizard money.
Gillyweed - Plant that allows you to breath underwater.
Git - Bratty or annoying boy/girl.
Gnome - Small, leathery looking creature with a large knobby, bald head exactly like a potato.
Grim - A giant spectral dog that haunts graveyards
Gringotts - The wizard bank.
Grunnings - A muggle company that makes drills; Mr. Dursley works for this company.

Lumos - When this word is uttered, the tip of your wand acts as a fairly powerful light.

Mandrake - Is a powerful restorative, they form an essential part of most antidotes; The cry of a full grown Mandrake is fatal to anyone who hears it.
Marauders Map - A map that shows every detail of the Hogwarts castle.
Morsemord - The spell that sends off the Dark Mark.
Mudblood - Foul name for someone who is Muggle born.
Muggle - A person with absolutely no magical powers.

Parseltongue - Someone who can speak to and understand snakes.
Patronus - A spell that can ward of dementors; Every wizard's Patronus has a different shape.
Phoenix - A magical bird with red and gold plumage which tears can heal wounds.
Pigwidgeon - Ron Weasleys pet owl.

Quaffle - A large red ball, about the size of a soccer ball.
Quidditch - A wizard game played on broomsticks.

Veela - A woman who makes men(particularly) happy and excited in her presence.

Veritaserum - A powerful truth potion used on Barty Crouch Jr. This potion can make you spill your innermost secrets to anyone who listens. Professor Snape used it to threaten Harry in Potions class.

Wand - A stick shaped to a point with a special core to cast spells, incantations, hexes or curses.
Whomping Willow - A very violent tree that stood alone in the middle of the school grounds.
